I want you to know, you’re not alone. During the last nine months in my work as a psychologist, whether it’s working with youth players, college players or adults, I hear a lot of the same challenges like,

  • “why am I having a hard time focusing?” or
  • ” why am I having a hard time letting go of my worries?” and even
  • “why am I not finding as much joy in the things that I do?”
If you, like most people, are experiencing these struggles, I want you to know that these are very common brain responses to incredibly difficult, and unexpected, challenges and changes.
