The Executive Director is responsible for the vision of the club, complete management of operations, and oversight of professional and volunteer personnel required to carry out the operations of the club.

·         Oversee club operations, facilities, policies, procedures, and vision

·         Financial oversight of budget, sponsorship agreement, Donor Advised Fund implementation, insurance, taxes, and leases

·         Human resource responsibilities including hiring, termination, evaluation, scheduling, payroll, timecards, benefits, and managing paid time off requests

·         Health/safety protocol communication

·         Incident response and risk management

·         Develop a plan for outreach and membership expansion

·         Manage the process of continuous improvement in the quality and value of programming at OFA

·         Lead bimonthly board meetings and weekly staff meetings

·         Coordinate with community partners and service providers, including accountant, county assessor, and insurance provider

·         Maintain relationship with Dutch Bros Foundation representative

·         Serve as liaison to soccer clubs in Southern Oregon, OYSA, and competitive leagues

Candidate requirements:

·         Minimum of 10 years of progressive work experience in organizational leadership (soccer related experience preferred but not required)

·         Community awareness; knowledge of Josephine County and Southern Oregon

·         Demonstrated experience and success in recruiting, retaining, developing, and motivating staff at all levels

·         Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and effectively communicate solutions in a professional, tactful, and courteous manner

·         Experience in creating and managing budgets, accounting, and finance

·         Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects with deadlines

·         Exceptional people skills, including the ability to put self-interests aside to do what is best for the club, keep a positive attitude, work well with others, and maintain a balance between grace and firmness

·         Competence in Microsoft Office and email communication

·         Responsible, ethical, and professional conduct at all times
