FC Portland

FC Portland is a grassroots soccer organization that believes life lessons are taught through a team environment. Our programs include Jr Academy (U7-U8), Foundation Academy (U9-U11), Development Academy (U12-U14), and Senior Academy (U15-U18).

If you join the FC family, you can expect complete support from the club. You must fit into the team culture and look to improve as a person and as a coach. We believe success comes from your environment. Our goal at FC Portland is to ensure our players are in a safe learning and fun environment.
Candidates should have playing and coaching experience and the ability to plan and execute multiple training sessions per week, be an excellent communicator and work well in a team environment.

We have positions open for Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches in our club’s boys’ and girls’ programs.

Role Expectations:
– Attend training twice a week. All training is held at Liberty High School. Three times a week if you are an ECNL coach.
– Arrive at each training session early and with a plan. If you are a Head Coach, you provide the plan for your assistant coaches.
-Attend all matches throughout the league and cup season.
-Must have excellent communication skills.
– Must be willing to work in a team environment
– Be motivated and ready to inspire the youth of today
– Be a role model

Compensation:
Pay will depend on whether you are a head coach or assistant coach. Director of Coaching, Jason Carney, will provide more information during the interview process.
